Its pretty important to me to become a rich parent to provide for my family, so my kids can go to a decent school etc. In that respect Its quite nice to have rich parents so you can easily get into University to further your education.

I’m speaking about the stress the money can have impact upon the parents. The child can get spoilt easily aswell so as the parent with the money. Worst case scenarios are when the money is obtained illegally, you have authorities over your head and in some cases you can see your relatives in jail. :hmm: :hmm:

It depends on where you are. Yeah you run the risk of becoming spoiled and unable to take care of yourself but if the alternative is having money problems your entire life the choice is, dare I say, ez. Here I think middle class parents would be preferable. In the US, definitely rich.

Well, thats another matter altogether. I suppose. Looks like we have something to talk about, we should make a thread about it before this one rails off :)

Maybe we are reading different threads? I see one most popular topic: Thomas and Friends. What I find really inspiring about the Thomas universe is that anyone can make their own Thomas and Friends stories. What Thomas is really about is learning to deal with our emotions, our innermost turmoil in healthy ways, all the while crafting valuable workplace relationships with patrons, coworkers, and employers. We learn we are painted a certain way on the outside, as trains are painted coats they can't control, and that's OK. Each of us is unique and beautiful. I'm a little tankie. Are you?

So who is going to create all those threads for us?

- Religion as the "basis" of morality
- The "conflict" between science and religion

I think @deleted_user4 might be interested in starting those.

I'm not interested in starting those.

You were demanding it a few weeks ago.

Well if nobody starts a thread then nothing will be discussed.

Ded forum, really.

I don't think many members enjoy discussing any topic with you, frankly. Whether to say that is correct or incorrect of them, I don't know. Naturally it has lead to less common, less serious discussion to occur.

There are a plethora of Internet forums that discuss similar topics. Have you tried participating in one which isn't dead? I fear this is the direction ESOC is heading, and you will have no choice but to stop posting here altogether, very soon! :(

Who said anything about discussing them with me, you imbecile? It's for the forum in general.

Monsieur! I meant not to offend. I only intended to say you are not above such physical and metaphysical concerns like economics and philosophy. Your participation is assumed. It is very enlightened of you!
