Re: Official 2018 FIFA World Cup Thread
Just saw the replay. He barely touched it and I think he was anyway more interested in getting the ball rather than hurting him and lose more time.

He exaggerated it for sure, but he was still within his rights. He didn't "fake" it because he actually was stepped on. All football players waste time, but when Neymar does it he is blamed and called a crybaby for it. I think that move psychologically affects the other team players and is a part of the game. Well played 90 minutes by Neymar honestly.

Also, Neymar was barely touched and reacted a solid two seconds after contact, only as the ball was taken from his grasp. The kid's a bigger bitch than Ronaldo, who along with Sergyou should obviously have been awarded three penalties against URGay, poor favor.
That said, the other poor favor has only himself to blame for gifting Neymar the five-minue-wasting move. It's general knowledge that football's shitty rules are being abused in absurdum by players. At this point it's beyond "all in the game".

Japs to send our Congo overlords packing??
Re: Official 2018 FIFA World Cup Thread
Go, Japs! Down with the Congo!
Re: Official 2018 FIFA World Cup Thread
I'm rooting for Japan on this one. Always fun supporting the underdog. Plus the fact they went thru on fair play points!
Having said that Brazil Belgium might get super fun to watch too!

I'm always rooting for Japs!

Lecuckoo should have had a penalty, but Go Japs!
Re: Official 2018 FIFA World Cup Thread
Literally read "Belgium is gonna surprise everyone, they have such a good team!" since the past 3-4 world/euro cups and they always suck ass. Becoming a meme.

This is shaping up to be the most unexpected quarter-finals ever: no Italy, no Netherlands, no Chile, no Germany, no Argentina, no Portugal, no Spain, no Belgium (as I write this, Belgium scores a super unlikely goal), possibly no England

lol... English can't speak American. The team is a group of many people. Thus we say; "they are coming home"! And indeed they are, after they got hung out to dry by Columbia.
