I think I've watched all his AI videos twice, or thrice. Really fascinating even from an elementary chess player's view. It's got me extremely interested in like such things as probability and digital(?) networks and like other things -- but where to start?!

Neural networks is what they are called. Start with
TensorFlow and revitalize your love for coding.

Yeah I am familiar with the term but beyond that and a Wikipedia article, nope. My adverseness to coding is a hamperer so I'll just do other things I know more about like how we decided these things a long time ago.

As an exclusive Queen's Gambit player, just as you Diarouga, this is one of my most favorite videos. I've watched it countless times:
Edit: Actually not the video I had in mind, but it's a good one nonetheless.

Varuzhan Akobian (~2500 rating) also plays exclusively Queen's Gambit against everything but The Dutch Defense where he goes for 2. Nc3 and 3. Bg5 to immediately contest e4, AFAIK. He has a ton of lectures you can watch with Saint Louis Chess Club.

atm i usually play the Danish Gambit for fun (bad against ok players) on lichess (unr)
My rating was 1400-1500 8 months ago on chess24, i played 1200 rated games in 3 months then i stopped, because i realized i had to learn a lot more

I'm new to chess.com so don't know my rating... IRL elo (years ago) got to 1600-1800 or something when I played some tourneys, if that says anything at all...
Do you play 5/10 minute games? How do I add you?

I can play anything (from 2min to 30min, I have hard time playing long games though). To add me, create a chess.com account, and add me (azertyuiopni), or tell me your user name.
