Black licorice

So I was talking to cheddar about licorice and I got me thinking what does not of the world think about it. My guess is most people hate it. I love it however I would not it large quanitities of it. Well what to y'all think?

I dislike the taste of black licorice but sometimes people compare clarinets to black licorice, and I like clarinets, so I voted "other" and this my explanation of that vote.

did you know that in germany theres a clear border when it comes to black licorice consumption. Basically black licorice is only being eaten in the north and literally no one eats it beyond frankfurt in the south. I too am from the south and i frequently wonder how the hell northgermans can eat it. I imagine that strange love for black licorice extends to denmark ( maybe you live in former german territory, that would explain a lot :) )

Yea, pretty much impossible to get outside of Denmark/North Germany.

Extremely common!

Apperantly we're the biggest producer of liquorice in the EU even and consume about 2kg of it on average per year.
