Man I'm very annoyed this morning, I had a friend earlier this week who works for a company in the steel industry who lost his job as a direct result of tarrifs and just found out another friend who works in a lab for a chemical company got laid off because of tarrifs. Im so annoyed I might actually vote in the next election.

I don't see how that's relevant. I debated Brexit too, even tho I'm not a Brit. It's OK to be informed about impactful stuff, you should try it.
Heck, I would read about the politics of every country, if I had the time.
