The problem with Biden, is that I fear he will not cause any enthusiasm, enough to get the voters out to VOTE. I'm sorry, but that is what I think like he is even worse than Hillary was.
Biden has a super bad record, and the Trump election machine is aware of it, and they will use it biggly :hmm:
So, when the other candidates in the democratic run, are going easy on him, they are not doing their job, on vetting him. Any candidate has to be prepared for the GOP smear campaigns, and Biden gives them plenty of "good stuff" :uglylol:

A lot of people (including me) still like Biden though despite his faults. He's a familiar, amiable figure well-liked across the aisle (even among some racists) and more relatable than any other candidates since he really is an Average Joe in many ways. Throwing Trump out of office may be enough reason for many people to vote this time since polls won't be as clear as 2016 about who'll win and even if they are, people no longer believe in them as they used to.

Whether people actually want an Average Joe is another question though, since the last somewhat ordinary dude who led the US (Calvin Coolidge) didn't do so well.

I doubt Hillary will win now that we know Trump's presidency wasn't as disastrous as everyone expected (not that it wasn't bad).

Yeah I don't actually think she would win the nomination if she ran. I just think she would be a better president than anyone currently running

I'd be lying if I said I don't ramble a lot. It's frustrating having clear ideas in your head, but when you try to express them it's an incoherent mess, and you don't even cover all the points that you wanted to make. I did a business presentation the other day and when I finished I realized there were several other things that I wanted to mention. Just this morning I was struggling for words to express a thought as simple as "If you want to go do X, I don't mind waiting on you."

That's actually a really good point. Trump made a remark about how he regrets calling Warren "Pocahontas" so early on, because it means it won't stick as much during the election, if she's the nominee. When you look at all the things you can criticize Biden for (though not necessarily valid criticisms) and compare it to how much Trump is attacking Biden, it definitely gives the impression that he's saving it for later. I've been saying for awhile now that there are relatively few people who could withstand half-a-year of Trump shitposting at them on twitter, at rallies with tens of thousands of attendees, and at debates. Of Biden, Sanders, and Warren, I think Sanders is the only one with even the potentiality to survive that. If Biden were to win in the general election, it would only serve as proof that party-affiliation is more important than the candidates.

2016 is over, Hilalry is not coming back, Sanders won't be as successful. He proved a weak leader by being the candidate to say he was going to stand up to corruption and then folded and endorsed it. He's simply out for the bucks and to try to reel in people to the dem's side. He won't get the nomination, and if he did I think most republicans would love it as it might guarantee trump a 2nd term.

His plan is to pander free college and free this n that to younger generations that are easily tricked to the idea of the socialist state. Nothing is free in life. Everything has to be worked by someone and paid too.

Warren may be the best chance to take on trump and shes basically a lot like Bernie

Still think yang has best solutions though.

And records are for those that truly appreciate music and sound. Analog is so much more authentic

1 k per month wont do much for non workers, other than make it so they don't have to be completely homeless and destitute, This would alleviate some of the subsidies already in place. It will help people who are unemployed for extended periods of time not hitting rock bottom and having an even harder time getting good again. It would also make employers have to treat their employees better as there would be less coercion forces to keep people stuck in poor jobs. It equalizes everyone and uplifts those that do work so they can actually prosper in a world of finances being stolen from them via, inflation and coercion to work. It will also boost the economy to support the work that people do with fresh money in the economy. It will help College students burdened by debt while still making them accountable for the loans they took. It really is the best most fair solution that does not pander to the top or the bottom. As a Republic free of kings and dictators having the money belong to the people and free flowing to the people is the only logical, and moral way to do it. Its a giant leap forward that could getting us hopping and skipping to an actual free world.

In each of the last three elections, the polling on hypothetical popular-vote match-ups between the two eventual nominees 14 months out from the election turned out to be shockingly accurate

2008 (vs. McCain)
Obama +7
Clinton +3

Actual result: Obama +7.2

2012 (vs. Romney)
Obama +1

Actual result: Obama +3.9

2016 (vs. Trump)
Clinton +3
Sanders -1

Actual result: Clinton +2.1

2020 (vs. Trump)
Biden +12
Sanders +7
Warren +5
Also, according to a recent Fox News poll:
In counties where the 2016 vote was close (Hillary Clinton and Trump within 10 points), Biden is ahead by 21 points.

That's pretty much what I said when Biden launched his campaign. That's the whole point of his campaign. He's the old, dubious guy with questionable behaviour and views who is supposed to beat Trump at his own game.
People don't understand that the time of Snow White candidates is not now. So all this agitation about which candidate has the most thoughtful, green and progressive policies is beyond ridiculous. When the world is in turmoil, it's not Snow White candidates that get elected, it's berserker candidates that get elected.

Yeah, Biden has been touching people in overly-familar ways that makes some people feel uncomfortable for several decades, because he knew eventually that he would run against a guy who was caught bragging on a hot mic about how he likes to sexually assault people. He's a real 4D chess player, good thinking, bud

No, but he's a boomer and this type of behaviour was ok back in the 70s, 80s, even 90s. So he and his team saw an opportunity here to turn this potential weak point of his profile into a trump card.
