I don't think general election polls during primaries are worth anything unless it's the current President's second term. Probably >50% of the people surveyed don't know what most dem candidates are about, and everyone knows Trump. You'd expect Biden and Sanders, who were well known before this primary, to do well, and that is indeed the case.

GE polls will start to be meaningful when we have a candidate and they are actually campaigning to reach the entire electorate instead of just dem voters.
