Dr. Baden said small burst capillaries, known as petechiae, found on Epstein's face, mouth, and eyes are often an indication of strangulation. But it was injuries to Epstein's neck that make Dr. Baden call into question the official ruling of suicide.
Autopsy photos show fractures of the left and right thyroid cartilage, which sits at the front of the neck, and the left hyoid bone, a u-shaped bone that sits under the jaw and acts as an anchor for the tongue.

"I have never seen three fractures like this in a suicidal hanging," Dr. Baden tells Alfonsi on the broadcast. He added: "Going over a thousand jail hangings, suicides in the New York City state prisons over the past 40–50 years, no one had three fractures

Not if you're rich and well-connected like Epstein. Then money can make things a lot easier for you, even in prison.
But then, those high connections thought Epstein might have tried to get a good deal by turning others in. Imagine the UK royal house going down in flames, if prince Andrew was exposed as an ephebophile who committed statutory rape, or w/e you call it in the USA. Not so cool..
Imagine people finding out that Bill Clinton was one of their clients for those hand-picked teen girls.

It doesn't really matter. In this case letting the person kill themseves and killing them effectively produce the same desired result.fightinfrenchman wrote:People in prison often kill themselves since being in prison sucksn0el wrote:that article reads as a litany of conspiracy

Also Epstein was taken off suicide watch after he had attempted to commit suicide, so that's one smart doctor there.

So which of those two scenarios do you think happened?deleted_user wrote:It doesn't really matter. In this case letting the person kill themseves and killing them effectively produce the same desired result.

They were all in his circle. Trump, Clinton, prince Andrew.
We could say there was bi-partisan interest for Epstein to become very, very sad and end his life.

The point is that it doesn't matter which I believe - neither should have occurred in a functional penal institute. The fact that it did occur and didn't rely on just one mistake makes it increasingly less probable that it wasn't orchestrated. See my edit above too.fightinfrenchman wrote:So which of those two scenarios do you think happened?deleted_user wrote:It doesn't really matter. Re: 2020 Democratic Primary
Clinton’s presence aboard Jeffrey Epstein’s Boeing 727 on 11 occasions has been reported, but flight logs show the number is more than double that, and trips between 2001 and 2003 included extended junkets around the world with Epstein and fellow passengers identified on manifests by their initials or first names, including “Tatiana.” The tricked-out jet earned its Nabakov-inspired nickname because it was reportedly outfitted with a bed where passengers had group sex with young girls.
Tbh, I don't suspect Trump to have engaged in any group sex with these girls, at least not in the last decade or so. He's probably taking so much finasteride to keep his hair on that he wouldn't be able to do much.A woman suing in connection with Jeffrey Epstein’s underage sex ring claims she was first approached while working as a towel girl at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.
Some 20 or more years ago, though, who knows.

Ok this sort of stance is so unjustifiable, that it is actually baffling. If you would like to do a bit of digging or reading up here you go. To check out Republican gerrymandering: https://www.businessinsider.com/partisa ... 017-6?IR=T , https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/REDMAP , https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-des ... ymandering . To check out the long list of voter suppression throughout the years, deployed primarily by Republicans: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voter_sup ... oter_rolls . Or you could have a look at the fact that 2016 was the first election since the gutting of the Voting Rights Act, caused by a conservative Supreme Court (read: put there by Republicans) that let states implement the voting suppression talked about earlier: https://www.nytimes.com/2013/06/26/us/s ... uling.html , https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/p ... ed-179737/ . Or we could look at the 3 bills sitting on the Senate floor, refusing to be debated or voted on by Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell, all to protect his Republican colleagues from having to look terrible when they vote against the bills: https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/467 ... second-day . Oh and don't forget McConnell completely throwing out the book on all congressional standards of the senate and blocking a supreme court pick by a president.bittersalt123 wrote:Trump wasn't exactly the establishment candidate and they didn't want him to win but the people did. I think that's why I have more respect for the republicans because no matter what they have more respect for our democratic system.fightinfrenchman wrote:You should really be more worried about Republicans rigging the actual election
Please stop saying that if Democrats aren't perfect, then you will vote Trump. This is not a both sides are the same. If you have ideological differences, say it and vote for the guy or gal that will put YOUR interests first. But don't vote for someone as a protest vote. Because guess what, it isn't. It is just another justification for them to keep doing what they are doing. Because it isn't like your vote comes with a little * attached. It is just a rubber stamp.

Joe Biden sucks, such an uninspiring candidate.
Re: 2020 Democratic Primary
'boring'/'uninspiring' is another way of saying 'doesn't have a creepy personality cult around him like most of the other candidates'

What was it Clinton said? I seem to have missed something. Her comments about Gabbard were a while ago but you guys seemed to be talking about some recent thing earlier:
