Also, stop taking Twitter as real life. Please, it's not healthy.

Bernie responds to becoming the Democratic primary front runner by... choosing to lose Florida 9 months early. Great instincts

I'm watching a documentary on Lee Atwater and it's funny to see Roger Stone in it.

Another 12% of the Nevada results came in recently. It's looking like Buttigieg might not be viable statewide.

Also it's fucking bullshit how 34.2% of the initial votes ends up giving you 47.5% of the county delegates and possibly even a bigger share of the delegates.

That’s not exactly the question I got though. It was whether they should, not whether they currently are.RefluxSemantic wrote:I'm just here wondering how the fuck you can think corporations pay their fair share of taxes.

I'm starting to hope she runs as an independent. I think she would take way more votes away from Trump than any Dem nominee.gibson wrote:Why is Gabbard still in the race?

Considering thats shes basically a republican thats definitely a reasonable assumption.wardyb1 wrote:I'm starting to hope she runs as an independent. I think she would take way more votes away from Trump than any Dem nominee.gibson wrote:Why is Gabbard still in the race?

Also I was looking at the 2016 Hawaii election results and Clinton got 3 of the electoral votes and Bernie got 1 despite not being on the ballet because of a "Faithless Elector". Like what the fuck how can that even be a thing.

Re: 2020 Democratic Primary
Your whole democracy is barely held together by people just doing what their meant to do. Like almost no one is legally obligated to do anything, it is all just "we say we will do what we have always done". Look at what happened in the Dem Nevada primary in 2016. People were robbed of their democratic rights, right in front of their very eyes and could do nothing, because the cops came in and protected the people who did the robbing.

Re: 2020 Democratic Primary
"Gabbard’s supporters are also likely to fall outside of traditional Democratic circles. Her supporters, for instance, are more likely to have backed President Trump in 2016, hold conservative views or identify as Republican compared to voters backing the other candidates. An early November poll from The Economist/YouGov found that 24 percent of Democratic primary voters who voted for Trump in 2016 backed Gabbard. By comparison, 12 percent of these voters backed Sen. Elizabeth Warren, 11 percent backed Biden and 10 percent backed Mayor Pete Buttigieg. Primary voters who identified as conservative also overwhelmingly backed Gabbard in that poll (16 percent) — only Biden and Harris enjoyed more support from this group (27 percent and 17 percent, respectively).Cometk wrote:Just because she’s made appearances on Fox News?gibson wrote:Considering thats shes basically a republican thats definitely a reasonable assumption.Show hidden quotes
And a University of New Hampshire/CNN survey in late October found Gabbard actually ahead of Biden among Democratic primary voters in New Hampshire who identified as Republican, at 28 percent to Biden’s 18 percent. To be sure, the number of conservative, Republican and/or Trump voters in these polls was not large, but considering Gabbard doesn’t get that much backing to begin with — 3 percent in The Economist’s poll and 5 percent in the University of New Hampshire’s — these voters do make up a significant chunk of her support."
