Trump has got to be losing favour with some of the military after all his recent stunts. Mathis thing and now with him not doing anything about Russia putting bounty contracts of US military personnel heads. That's been a really clear part of his message being the military but how he doesn't erode his support there after this now would be beyond me.

Disingenuous pretenses are bad. I don't like SBC's political antics.

I'd argue not always. When he gets Senators or high profile people then I think it is a bit fairer game. In this regard it is pretty dumb because even if I was there I'd take it as a joke. It's just a catchy beat and especially when an performer tries to involved the crowd, it gets really awkward if people don't participate and many would do it just to not have that awkwardness happen. The only interesting thing from this is maybe that there were way more men than women there based purely off singing volume of the crowd.

Also good to note that the house passed the D.C Statehood bill with a think only 1 Dem not voting for it and it is the most Trump - Dem seat in the House. Currently only 41 Dem Senators currently support this unfortunately. However if there were big wins in the Senate in November then it could very well become viable with the additional pressure to pass it.
