Isn’t there another forum member who runs a restaurant? I remember someone offering their restaurant as a venue for a future ESOC meet-up. I think he said he was based in Switzerland. Might want to ask him instead.

I am sorry to say this but Ahmaud Arbery trial is so sad and almost funny and showcases the complete lack of any basic protections for common people. The situation is worse if you are Black.

The last sentence is particularly interesting. The video went viral on 5th May that is 72 days after "alleged murder" (at the time). For 72 days, nearly 2 and half months the suspects roamed free. For 72 days law enforcement took no action. Only when the video went viral and the public response was clear arrests were made on May 7th. 74 Days after murder. Another striking thing is that video was sent to radio station at behest of Gregory McMichael, the suspect himself. He made the ultimate mistake which led to the arrests and subsequent conviction. If he had not given permission to send and had the video not been viral there is a possibility that they would have never been arrested and would have been free for the rest of their lives. Or had the another neighbor not recorded the incident the crime would have went unpunished.
