I could see them being able to hold a reelection, but it would have to be nationwide. I suppose if a state were able to act quickly enough, according to its constitution, it could organize a run-off, special election, whatever you want to call it. Louisiana, for example, chooses its Senator after the first Tuesday after the first Monday of November. As to whether a state could get away with that? I presume the Supreme Court would be split on partisan lines.

But I have to presume the guy with the most votes would just end up winning. We've had elections with very sketchy results in the past, and the loser chose not to contest the results because they didn't want all the drama.

The letter was more to show that Trump has no idea what he's doing and saying his decisions are based on a line of reasoning that has any basis in reality or makes any diplomatic sense is probably giving him too much credit already. Did you read it? It could've been written by a 5 year old.

Of course I read it. It's his idea of acting like a 19th century president. He doesn't give a shit about "expertise" and PhDs. He acts like a general and he talks using power language. It's pure politics, really. Except the style is from another epoch. And that's the idea.

I highly doubt that it's just politics, I think he's just not a very sophisticated person and that letter represents the extent of his mental capacity.

about Gabbard @fightinfrenchman I just saw that Hillary Clinton has put out a smear on Tulsi Gabbard, calling her a Russian, and Assad ally. The stupidity of this Hillary, just has no end. Even CNN has called Clinton out for it, calling it a hit piece, that provides NO evidence, what so ever.
I guess that Clinton cannot forgive Gabbard, for leaving the DNC, while calling them out on the backstabbing they were doing to Sanders, freaking 4 years ago.

I don’t care for her as a candidate but I think she’s got legitimate critiques of the DNC process. Also Crooked H needs to turn off her twitter account until after the election.
