Should I bring a lunch to work or just buy food from the vending machines

Pasta, butter or olive oil, herbs, salt, or sauce. Cheap and tasty. Customizable.

Or

Chopped onions, green pepper, mushroom, and tomato. garlic, basil, salt, olive oil, vinegar. Tortilla and meat optional. Less cheap, but still cheap.

Or

Spend $8 on a bag of goldfish and never retire.

My lunch is only 30 minutes and I got tired of "competing" for space at the microwaves, so I always just bring a peanut butter sandwich so I can stay at my cubicle like a cheap, anti-social freak

Pack lunch or better yet why don’t you just live within a short 3 minutes walk from work like me? This is really the best solution for everyone. I just walk home and heat up my leftovers and can eat in peace.Cheadar, you could try working at Turkey Hill to solve this problem.

I regularly lunch at the four seasons hotel
