I made a pasta which got 3.5k upvotes when crossposted to /r/justbeckbeardthings, a terrible subreddit.

I've had one other 1k comment on my first reddit account, callen013, since shadow banned. It was the most brain dead post I've ever made and I was fully aware of how brain dead it was. It was a gif in reply to a hot post rising in /r/gifs.

When I was young and subscribed to defaults I recognized the only parent comments in /r/gifs threads were other dumb gifs, and I realized comment quality did not matter as comment timing (early) which gives comment exposure, so I did a dumb gif reply at an optimally exposed time (3am CST) and was one of the first comments. I felt dirty and gross. Other people make a living off that.

I was given gold once just to experience the cesspool pool of /r/lounge. I didn't like it, but I liked it.
