Light Novels and Novels
I've had quite a lot of time on my hands since i've been away from university, due to this i've been getting back into reading Light novels. Unfortunately i've finished all of the Novels that are interesting that my family owns, does anyone have any suggestions?

Genres?
My favorite book thus far is Hunger by Knut Hampson.
All of Vonnegut is easily read fast.
Chekhov's collected short stories - my favorite short story author.
Alternatively, plays make for light reading - who better than Shakespeare?

Been reading a lot of travel novels, Jeremy Seal in particular i've been enjoying. I'll see if i can get hand of Hunger though if you recommend it especially seeing as it's 1p on amazon.

Nah light novels are a specific type of novel, they are light reading still though as they tend to be relatively short I sort of meant both types, so normal novels as well, anyway.

Re: Light Novels and Novels
@Riotcoke i can personally recommend Over.lord. it's an isekai but not so engaged with the concept of itself being an isekai, if that makes sense - it's really easy to get lost in the worldbuilding, as the characters in the story do. one of my favorite aspects of it is the positive interpersonal development between the characters.
one i haven't personally read myself but know is quite acclaimed are the NieR:Automata novels - they aren't actually the source material, but rather based off of the video game developed by platinumgames (think bayonetta). like i said, haven't read myself, nor have i played the games, but i know they're supposed to be good, so probably worth a try if you're bored. actually, i might recommend playing nier:automata first, as the novels are probably more bonus content for fans than sufficient standalone reading material

Tbh, anything by Edgar Allan Poe.
Poe is maybe one of the very few good things that came out of America.
