The nursery rhyme "Mary Had A Little Lamb," but the line "Whose fleece was white as snow" replaced with "Whose fleece was white as rice." Thoughts?

Imo, just go ahead and say your prepared comeback for when someone says there's brown rice too.

Reading "strategy advice" in an aoe3 discord and someone is having troubles killing samurais with Gurkhas, so another player recommends training some mahout to tank the samurais.

Here's an idea: a parody of the song "Dreamweaver" - "Scream sneezer." Thoughts?

Just got a really good neck crack in.evilcheadar wrote:Anyone else get a good neck crack in?
I am lying supine on my bed and propped my torso up on my elbows and let my head dead hang until it cracked.
This is a good way to crack because it flexes our spine and neck the direction opposite of their normal position looking at phones and screens. I like imagining the compressed parts of the spinal discs stretching in tension, and the tensioned parts squishing in compression.
Re: Freetalk Friday 1
What's the most relieving crack to get? A nice sternum crack always goes down well.

They cite Covid-19 as an "exceptional circumstance", therefore the airline company doesn't have to compensate me.
It would make sense if there were travel restrictions, but the flight was canceled for pecuniary reasons (low attendance due to travel recommendations and not restrictions).

Airline companies are barely surviving and you want to milk them dry coz your flight got cancelled.
Just take a train or a dinghy.

Re: Freetalk Friday 1
Covid-19 is not an extraordinary circumstance. This may have been a question back in March, but now it has been established that airlines cannot invoke this clause.Djigit wrote:FMr_Bramboy wrote:Where are you from?FranceDjigit wrote:My flight has been cancelled today. It would make sense if there were travel restrictions, but the flight was canceled for pecuniary reasons (low attendance due to travel recommendations and not restrictions).
If you were informed of the cancellation less than 14 days prior to the scheduled departure date, you have a right to compensation. From your post, I believe this is the case. If you were informed more than 14 days before the scheduled departure date, then there are other factors involved in the question of whether or not you have a right to compensation. If the airline has offered you re-routing and you reach your final destination with a delay of 2-4 hours the compensation may be reduced by up to 50%.
If the airline invokes the extraordinary circumstances clause, they have the burden of proof and therefore it is up to them to prove that there is causal inference between these extraordinary circumstances and the cancellation of your flight and that the cancellation could not have been avoided had reasonable measures been taken. If the airline dodges your request to compensation, you can contact your national watchdog.
@Dolan Most (all?) airlines have received national covid-funds to deal with these situations and in this case, it sounds like the airline is abusing the clause.
