Then why are you supporting the equivalent of our third party spoliersh. The Lib Dems won’t coalition with Corbyn to keep Boris out of #10.

Jeremy Corbyn and Labour. Many reasons including:Hazza54321 wrote:Who are people voting for then and why @brits
- Green industrial revolution, action on climate change and the environment
- More reliable and easier access public transport
- Funding for public services
- An end to the current economic cycle of needless borrowing -> economic crash -> austerity
- Personal issues such as better mental health provision and support, LGBTQ+ rights, better access to healthcare for LGBTQ+ people etc

Jeremy Corbyn is lying to you. He is a populist demagogue who gains votes by making false or impossible promises.thomasgreen6 wrote:Jeremy Corbyn and Labour. Many reasons including:Hazza54321 wrote:Who are people voting for then and why @brits

Re: UK general election thread
The UK elections are weird. Your vote and even the outcome may or may not mean anything in the end since the seat distribution is about clusters of party winners rather than proportional votes as far as I've understood it
Whoever might win in the end, it won't be the UK citizens or even that sweet sweet British democracy every politician riding on the "Brexit means Brexit"-train was eager to point out

Incredible. Just incredible. I wonder if democracy is truly doomed or if there is something else going on.Horsemen wrote:BIGGEST CONSERVATIVE MAJORITY SINCE 1987

Why is Bloomberg the only American news channel covering the election?

Even BBC America is just playing a Robinhood movie.
Their channels are only covering the impeachment debate in the Judiciary Committee.Mr_Bramboy wrote:https://www.foxnews.com/world/british-g ... ve-updatesAmsel_ wrote:Why is Bloomberg the only American news channel covering the election?

Re: UK general election thread
it's just the exit polls at this moment, or am I wrong?
Also, I don't see the appeal of the tories, but choosing the absolute moron over the other candidate seems to be a common theme in the anglophone world

Re: UK general election thread
Changing his position to be anti Brexit in order to satisfy a bloc of his party appears to have been a huge mistake for Corbyn

Re: UK general election thread
Exit polls are generally pretty accurate, and anyway there would have to be a pretty huge error for the conservatives not to have wonjesus3 wrote:it's just the exit polls at this moment, or am I wrong?
