@Amsel_ Nazism is just a type of fascism. The only major difference between Hitler's Nazism and Mussolini's fascism is that Italian fascism didn't have a racial theory, everything else was pretty much similar. Italian fascism was equally tolerant of private enterprise, for example, as long as it served the state's militaristic and socialist objectives.

Italy actually had racist laws. I presume the only reason they didn't go as gaga over it as the nazis did is because of the phenotypical differences between Northern and Southern Italians. The quotes from Mussolini about race not existing seem to just be a political act that does not represent the reality of his governance. Also, fascist "theory" was a lot more divided than National Socialism, which was centered around Hitler personally.

Fact: Every single one of Hitler's actions was inspired by Mussolini. German National Socialism is purely derivative of Italian Fascism. Italy is the true culprit behind WW2.
