It's definitely better than a dead Iranian general leading to potential WW3 or reports about an ominous new illness spreading in Wuhan.
Whatever is written above: this is no financial advice.

I've decided to buy "I told you so" options on GME, ATM strike with a February 6 expiration. These options give me the option to say "I told you so" if GME crashes by February 6 (or more broadly, if you can't exit your long position at your desired price point), but not the obligation to do so (i.e., if GME goes to $50k you can't tell me "I told you so"). Offering a premium of 5 ESOC likes and open to any takers.

I like the following stocks:
  • Ballard Power
  • Ceres Power
  • Plug Power (a correction would be nice here, though)
  • FuelCell Energy (a correction would be nice here, too)
  • Bloom Energy
  • Weichai Power
  • Xebec Adsorption
  • Nel
  • ITM Power
  • ThyssenKrupp (started steel production based on hydrogen recently, could be interesting)
  • Siemens Energy
  • Hexagon Composites
  • Hexagon Purus
The ones in bold look promising, but might be more risky.
A lot of these are european companies, which might have to do with me being exposed to more information on these.

Apart from hydrogen stuff, I can recommend to have a look at the cannabis sector, especially Aphria. They will merge with Tilray in Q2, which means that all Tilray shares will stay while Aphria shares will be converted to 0.83 Tilray shares each. Aphria is interesting due to the following two points:
  • The current price for Aphria shares is $12.50, while Tilray is at $18.52. However, $18.50 * 0.83 = $15.35, which means that Aphria is undervalued by ~23%, given the conversion mechanism. This leaves quite a nice room for arbitrage.
  • After the merger, the new company (named Tilray) will be the biggest player at the cannabis market and quite likely in a dominant position when cannabis is legalized in the US. Comparing this new company with competitors (e.g. Canopy Growth), the firm is undervalued given the size of production/sales. A realistic price for Tilray could easily be around $30-50.
There are two good reasons to have a position in Aphria. I think it should be possible to make 100-200% over the course of the next 11 months by investing in its shares now.

Sea Ltd is also good, especially if you can buy OTM calls on one of the down swings like on Friday

Looks like this was a good tip. Aphria is up +30% since I wrote this. Thanks to x5 CFDs, I made +150% in my investment.
