As another euro crisis draws near, the likelihood that the EU Commission will become a borrower on behalf of EU governments increases.
This is the only way out and, as usual, a solution can only be found by going through a scandalous situation, major disagreements, opposition and struggles. Basically politics.

Short-lived tourism boom largely facilitated by strong USD / weak Euro. Doesn't make up for two years of lost tourism sales.

If you want to increase UK tourism numbers you need to host more AoE 3 LAN tourneys imo

Pretty bad deal. If your cat needs medical assistance then you're paying $800-900 (depending on cat) per year. You'd be better off just paying for the medical procedure in almost all cases, unless the American vet is substantially more expensive than mine.
This advice did not "pay off"

Who decides to go visit Europe because of currency exchange rates... normies are not that knowledgeable, they just go for it because it was planned or they just go for the impulse to consoom because it feels good.

It's not tourism because of strong USD, there's plenty of not USD having tourists. It's just the first tourism season since 2020 that wasn't inhibited by limiting restrictions.

I've been mostly trading NSDQ100 and it's going great. I like it because of how accessible it is.
I also invested small amounts in a bunch of different energy sector related companies. Of those SPWR, FCEL and especially ENPH proved to be doing quite well.

Do you guys think that the Euro will go down this winter?

If industry in Germany gets further squeezed this winter with selective gas rationing, there'll be more downward pressures on the Euro.
The ECB will likely come out again in September to hike rates a 2nd time, which will give a positive signal to the markets.
So, it's gonna be a tossup between these two. It's the dire situations in Germany and Italy that have pushed the Euro down.

But since Germany is restarting coal plants, maybe they manage to get through the winter without crippling the industry much.
I don't see where could Euro appreciation come from in terms of real economy stuff.
Maybe some seasonality of euro demand and financial market contracts, which Horsemen might know more about. I know that the Yen for example tends to appreciate in August. There might be something like that for the Euro too.
