I don't see the appeal in using drugs.

You don't drink alcohol?

I should've said other than alcohol. Other drugs just dont have any appeal to me for some reason. It doesnt even sound fun somehow.

Well I have to admit alcohol is probably my favourite drug. But when I tried for example ecstasy, the effects felt a bit similar to some extent, but stronger and you have more control. I think it's a lot of fun once in a while (like once year or less for me)

LSD and a bad trip can give you demons. Not quite a health issue per se but not exactly innocent either.

If you practise healthy consumption of it, you shouldn't have a bad trip. Just stay to a low dosage level and only take it when you're in a good mood and in a good enviroment and you'll be fine (200ug and under). This is also why a sitter is so important, as things like putting on good music and comforting the person can really help if a trip goes south.

Also just as a caveat you can get health issues such as HPPD and DP/DR, but these are rare if you're careful and the latter is way more common off weed which is seen as realtively safe.

I'm not sure i find that exciting to need someone looking after me like a baby because i felt like having some hallucinations... I'd much rather have some stuff that still allows me to be in control of myself (amphetamines/opioids or others).
Regardless, i think it needs to be said that many people that we nowadays consider artists used to make/made/make extensive use of drugs, so i guess i should be somewhat thankful for the drug abuse of some people.

Now this is a hot take. It is all fun and games until your community of people are targeted by the group which have the most power over us all. Surely you expect more from the people which should aim to protect and serve us ALL. Even those which are to be judged by the law. Why are you ok with seeing people murdered by police, the same police which shouldn't be either judge, jury or executioner?

I don't think that they should, just that in certain circumstances I'll look the other way. Why does everything need to be escalated to murder. This is how I would like the police to behave.

I'm not going to do drugs no matter what. However if anyone else takes the plunge then it's a good thing you're giving advice, I suppose.

Why wouldn't you want to pursue finding new joys in life? If you don't particularly enjoy music, there's a chance lsd could change that. You could find wonder in music that otherwise bores you. Dipping into that potential isn't changing who you are, it's getting to know yourself better.

Why would I want to specifically enjoy music? I've never wanted to, I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything and I don't see how it would add anything of value to my life. I can't handle edibles, but can handle lsd/shrooms fine.

I've said this many times, but it's so important that each person does their own individual research in drugs that they are interested in trying. In addition, if someone in your family has a mental disorder, such as schizophrenia, then you should proceed with great caution. People partake in different drugs for different reasons - therapy, personal growth, fun, etc. What people often do not do is proper research into them and ensuring that they are in the right mindset and setting to do them. Another important thing is to test your shit so you have a better idea of what exactly you're getting into. Test kits are cheap and if you can afford drugs, you can afford a test kit. You typically don't need a trip sitter and having a sober and/or inexperienced trip sitter can even fuck up a trip.
