How to make time go faster?`

My work is very boring and it's only Tuesday morning somehow, how do I make it so that it's Friday evening faster?

Now this is a good idea. Shitposting on ESOC sometimes falters because there's not enough activity, I'll have to rejoin that old pool chemical discussion forum and troll there

I slept for like 12 hours last night. And I can't sleep at work without someone noticing most of the time

Realistic options:
Option #1: Play games. If video games won't run on whatever PC you have at work, play board games online. (Go is a good candidate)
Option #2: Watch TV shows. I'm sure there's many good ones you haven't seen. If you want recommendations, I can probably keep you busy for a year and I'm sure others have suggestions too.
Option #3: Read and/or listen to audiobooks.

Unrealistic options:
Option #4: Write a novel.
Option #5: Take up programming and build a game, or something else useful.

Once upon a time, I did ph*ne c*lls in an office. Most people didn't answer, so I placed an open book in front of the phone so that I could look down and read while the phone was ringing away.

you can also look at memes, browse random reddit threads, browse facebook market groups for interesting stuff, maybe chat with friends (there is a friend requirement for this one though)

Why is the perception of it moving faster not enough though?

Because whatever I'm doing regularly gets interrupted by annoying calls or depressing stories, forcing me to pause my podcasts

Ideally I wouldn't have any memories of the time spent at work if I was able to skip through it, like in the hit Adam Sandler film "Click"

Basically being busy is the best way to make it feel like time is passing, if you're doing nothing time will feel like it's passing very slowly as you'll just go through the same thoughts in your head constantly.
