This is frightening to hear from someone who considers themselves religious
I'm not saying you should try to get covid naturally, but what I am saying is that in the way that God has created us, our bodies have a remarkable way of getting immunity to diseases. And from what I understand, that natural immunity is better than any vaccine to date.
I don't think you should be frightened. I'm not very scary.

Whatever is written above: this is no financial advice.

I got covid and it was kinda just like the flu. Except for the part where it doesn't give you immunity to the flu so now I got the flu and my body is kinda ravaged.

Total Population -> 7.5b
Total Population under lockdown -> 2.3b
Total infected -> 400,000+ <500,000
Total Dead -> ~20,000
See those numbers don't even make sense.
No, this is not what I'm realizing.
The reason I'm calmer is the increase in data suggesting that people my age, and healthy people of the age of my parents (which are healthy) are at low risk. What also came out is that there is a substantial number of people with actual mild issues (asymptomatic even, or sometimes something not even as bad as the flu). On top of that I learned that if the hospitals get flooded, people like me and people I care about won't get denied. I was worried they might use a first come first serve policy. I was slightly worried about my parents and my gf who has asthma being denied healthcare because of bad luck, but that concern has been taken away entirely.
I was also worried about the government not doing anything for so long. They seemed pretty incompetent (I suspect they actually did make some mistakes) and I was worried about the risk we were taking. Seeing that we're doing shit about this now, I'm also less worried.
That being said, you are still being very naive. Italy has a CFR of 10%, and this number will actually increase. That either means this disease is fucking deadly, or more likely that Italy isn't actually testing enough. For Italy's numbers to be comparable to SK (the best source for CFR currently available) due to their extensive testing, they would need to have 8 times as many infections as there are currently being recorded, as SK has a CFR of 1.3%. It is also reported that Italy is not widely testing anymore, they just test those that come in or are very sick. There might be as much as 50% without symptoms. This means that something like 1% of Italy is currently infected. 500000 cases in Italy alone!
Now let's also think about the fact that Italy's healthcare system is unable to handle 1% of people being infected. That's pretty fast, and that's why we have a lockdown.
Now with regards to this 20% number that you don't believe in. We'll easily reach this number at this rate. We won't have 20% infected concurrently, but this might take another half a year. That's enough time for 20% to get infected.
You believed 20% would get infected in 6 months. This was on 26th march 2020. Now it is 2022 and not even 10% infected.
I have never been wrong, and will most likely never be. But you wouldn't understand that. You have smashed peach wrapped in a rotten leaf of a cabbage.

USA: 30% increase in rolling average of covid cases over last 30 days (from 30k to 41k cases per day)
I don’t like where this is going folks
Cases are actually much higher, most people are doing at home tests that aren’t registered in the official numbers. I know more people with covid right now than at any other time in the history of the virus.
NLs peak was 120k registered tests per day, on a population of 17 million and nothing went wrong. Well, everybody and their mother caught it over a period of 2-3 months, but with vaccinations + omicron being less severe, the hospitalizations stayed relatively low. At this point it really is like the flu, especially for those who chose to protect themself througu vaccination.
To compare to US numbers, you'd need to reach 2 million cases a day to have the same impact.
