Re: COVID-19 / Coronavirus Outbreak
My age bracket had a total of like 5 deaths, before vaccinations. Vaccinations cut that down by another 97% or more, so I feel like the chances of dying to covid are extremely small. Im not bothering anymore.

It's saved many lives so already proven good. I assume you're waiting for something bad to come out, I guess you can keep waiting. Unlikely to trump the good though.

Re: COVID-19 / Coronavirus Outbreak
I wish nothing bad happens. Still, with every vaccine one must monitor it's safety. Part of that process is checking for long term side effects if there is any.harcha wrote:It's saved many lives so already proven good. More than 30000 women across UK officially reported changes to their menstruation. Now a study is underway whether it is a result of vaccine. Although temporary and mild if proven this shows vaccine can have mid term effects some not yet found (possibility). It also means that possibility of long term effects isn't zero.
I have been a staunch supporter of vaccination but the delusions people like gibson and Jerom have that possibility of vaccine effects is zero deludes me. They should at least contend with the possibility.

Quote me saying a vaccine can't have side effects or please remove that claim.

Carthage does that. He also calls me names. I would be willing to start a class-action libel suit against Carthage if other ESOCians are interested.RefluxSemantic wrote:Quote me saying a vaccine can't have side effects or please remove that claim.

Re: COVID-19 / Coronavirus Outbreak
Other vaccines also (allegedly) cause irregularities in some women's menstrual cycles (vaccines affect immune system, which plays a role in menstruation). It's really not a big deal. Many things temporarily affect the menstrual cycle and women have to adjust and deal with these things all the time. Yes, of course it would be nice for it to be listed as a potential side effect (if there really is a link), but I'm pretty sure that it's not even listed as a side effect for other vaccines. I feel that all this noise is just some politicizing (women are being ignored!) and another attempt by some people to justify not getting the vaccine.princeofcarthage wrote:https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articl ... estigationgibson wrote:Time has literally told.Show hidden quotes

Possibly, they are still conducting research to prove any link. And I never attempted to discourage people from getting vaccine.XeeleeFlower wrote:Other vaccines also (allegedly) cause irregularities in some women's menstrual cycles (vaccines affect immune system, which plays a role in menstruation). Re: COVID-19 / Coronavirus Outbreak
To add to this, it makes total sense to me that a vaccine has side effects. But any direct side effects with big consequences (so not irregularities in menstrual cycle) will be noticed in trials or otherwise very shortly after vaccine rollout (they even noticed the ultra-rare bloodclotting side effect very quickly).RefluxSemantic wrote:Quote me saying a vaccine can't have side effects or please remove that claim.
What doesn't make sense to me is the idea that these vaccines will have weird long-term side effects that don't show up at all initially. The stuff in the vaccine disappears from the body in a matter of days if I am correct (it might be weeks). So apperantly this relatively small one-time dose is supposed to damage the human body in a way that only shows up years later? That's a strange notion to me. It could be that the spike protein actually does have this effect, but if it does catching covid will be far worse than simply being vaccinated.
