My internet went down as I was giving a demo during a meeting and right as I was about to transition to the most critical slide. I guess this technically falls under "complain about your internet" or "complain about coronavirus" but it happened during my job.

A job that forces you to work in your dreams would be a good Black Mirror episode (I say as someone who has never watched it)

Spent this entire morning on the phone with UPS. A 2000 pound freight shipment that I scheduled to be picked up last thursday still has not shown up. I have a conformation email saying it was picked up and a guy who was there when it was picked up who says it was picked up and yet somehow its not in any UPS system. Very fucking frustrating.

Just got the pallets in, I wish they had come before I spent an hour and a half on the phone with UPS or that UPS could have told me that it wasn't lost.

I'm not a complainer.

One of my customers told me a couple weeks ago that they were missing two adapter tips for two fiber video scopes we sold them. We ordered them and it took a couple of weeks for them to arrive, now they're saying they never received one of the video scopes in the order they received over a month ago. How did he know he was missing one of the adapters if he didn't even have the scope to begin with? And how did he notice one was missing? One of them almost certainly lost it then acted like he never saw it.

The presidents daughter, the supposed “director of marketing” arrived at 11:30, send out one tiny envelope, and left at 11:48. I love nepotism.

Supposed to be getting a pallet of stuff in today that would give me something to do, it’s still in Harrisburg pa over 9 hours away.

Imagine being unemployed and falling asleep at home and dreaming about having a job, then waking up at work and thinking this must be a nightmare, but then being unable to wake up.
