Is it normal for the Usegi to be at war with almost all their neighbours by summer 1547 on hard difficulty?

I took the Jimbo province before the Takeda declared war followed by 5 or so other clans. I'm in a diplomatic muddle and have no idea what to do. I have a couple of ashigaru armies that consist of 5 ish yari and 3-4 bows, so I can keep defending, but I think I will just lose in 5 years because I will struggle to get samurais and expand my economy.

Should I get rid of the monastery in my capital so I can build katana samurai? I replaced the archery dojo with a sake den in etchu, but I don't know how I am going to squeeze interrace farming when I get equal fields in 2 turns.
