I didnt say it is okay. I said it is ban worthy. I just meant to not look deep into it as he is drunk. It's true being drunk brings the worst nature or true nature out but that's hardly relevant. I may feel or have racist thoughts due to whatever reasons. But if I actively try to change them and don't act on them then that's what matters. The issue here is that Snuden should control his drunkenness.

you seriously can't recognize how snuden's conception of his own race played into - and, in fact, constructed - his bigotry and willfulness to make an unsolicited, harassing racist remark? and how the response to that, is not at all equivocal? and really how the term "white trash" is more often used in a classist way than it is "racist" lol
and how another user can push some racist rhetoric on another user in the wake of him getting harassed, and it's totally acceptable because it's "nuanced" enough that it isn't an "outright insult"
'white trash' is not outright racism in the way that you think it is, haha. The term has a long history behind it, and is still regularly used to denote a lot of things.
None of that is to say that I should have said it, and I myself feel embarrassed that I did, but when someone randomly drunk tweets racism at you, you can sometimes respond irrationally. Im not surprised that ESOC was blind to that in its bid to "apply the rules equally."

Then why are you in the UK, if Pakistan is such a great place with a vibrant, diverse culture in which nothing is as homogenous and as awful as people are trying to make it seem? As far as I theoretically know, Pakistanis are Caucasians. And I'm technically a Caucasian too. So you're not part of another race from any point of view. Criticising another culture has nothing to do with any kind of race classification. I criticise my own culture all day, doesn't mean I'm bigoted or "racist" towards Romanians or Europeans. You just got all uppity about this theme because you migrated to the comfy UK where you're free to spew all this ideological bullshit that you couldn't in your own country because they'd probably have you punished. So this theme has probably become profitable for you, you can exploit it like a gold mine, use their cultural colonial guilt against them and get those sweet sweet Western academia funds.
