1) Joining the said alliance is a process. It takes lot of time for the process and you might cease to exist before you join... as Ukraine is finding out the hard way.
2) The alliance has never been really tested. There is just no guarantee how far the power players are ready go to commit/defend the alliance. Joining might prove counter-productive by drawing the ire of Russia and being embroiled in war anyways.

Video of nuclear Russian missiles being transported is being shared on social media
The footage is from 2017, when the ICBMs were brought for a parade, but there might be disinfo agents trying to psyop this into a nuclear scare

No. If they try to join they will be attacked. If they do business as usual, no probs. I did say that was beyond your comprehension. Leave it.fightinfrenchman wrote: ↑25 Feb 2022, 21:26So whether they join or not, they're gonna be attacked. He should leave the country... politicians are killed first, asked questions later.

Re: European politics
Could be just pretense on both sides.
Putin might be just pretending he's willing to negotiate to show Xin he's not diverging too much from China's recent call for negotiations (China's willingness to keep abstaining from calling the invasion what it is seems to be wearing thin).
And Zelenskiy might be trying to buy some time, to get more military support.

Disinfo spammers alert
Just as I thought. There are ppl either in Ukraine or outside editing videos, taking footage of drones, explosions, shootings and adding voices from Ukraine or from previous disasters, just to make their video go viral
the audio from the vid

True, but that's part of the shock that Putin wanted the world to feel: a 'no rules' world order.

Claim: high-rise building in Kyiv hit by a missile. Insane if true.
Imagine being a civilian, still sleeping in the early hours, then waking up in flames, because some moron misfired into a civilian building.

62% of US thinks Putin WOULDN'T have invaded Ukraine under Trump

Remember when I said Trump was better for the world. Remember when I said Biden brings war closer/accelerates it. Remember when I said there was a real possibility of war during Biden presidency.

Re: European politics
Apparently the vid I posted appears to be true, it's not CGI or older footage at least. A better shot with the building after it got hit by a missile:
Possible victim of that missile strike:
UKR minister of defence claims the location is: 6A Lobonovsky Avenue, where a shell hit a residential building on the 17th and 18th floors on February 26.

Re: European politics
Putin has been planning this for years, possibly before Trump was even in power. That's why he's been working on cutting external debt and growing currency reserves. It was obviously part of a plan to reduce Russia's exposure to sanctions and allow it to launch an occupation war against Ukraine. Another evidence is what his former advisor, Vladislav Surkov, said about Ukraine not being a real state, that its fate will be decided by Russia later, etc. It's clear that this plan has been in the making for many years, way before Trump got elected.princeofcarthage wrote: ↑26 Feb 2022, 08:4662% of US thinks Putin WOULDN'T have invaded Ukraine under Trump

So I doubt that they launched it now because Biden is president. What do you think Trump would have done differently if Putin invaded. Trump wasn't a big fan of providing free defence services even to NATO allies, let alone non-members.
