It's pretty bizarre... One of my good friends has gone bananas.
He is a "new born" christian and among other things, he believes the earth is flat.

Even though I have gained some experience in stupidity thanks to ESOC, I don't know how to respond to his utter insanity.

One of the interesting things most people do not realize was NASA was founded in 1958 right after WW2.... Many of its scientist were Nazis that were brought over under operation Paper clip. (should have all been in jail for war crimes)

I wonder why they wanted these scientist so bad even though they had just fought a war with them, and the things they had been doing to people were quite sadistic. (human experiments, concentration camps, etc...)

When I look at pictures like these though it makes a little more sense as to why they might have needed them to understand a new level of tech. Yet no where in history is this ever replicated to the public.... why?

Can you refute this history? Did Nazis not enter into the US science program?

You clearly utterly misunderstood my post if you deduced that i in some way shape or form think that anything about the Nationalsozialismus was good.

What i am saying is that it is 1) hilarious to belittle the crimes of the nazis by spreading unbased conspiracies in the first place that 2) it is weirdly antisemitic to somehow imply that there is a connection between the nazis and some hebrew word for to deceit, if you mean that in the way i think you do and 3) that it is logically not really sound to imply that the scientists, that conducted these horrible experiments on humans then joined the NASA, considering that a) many of them were persecuted and b) those were doctors, biologists and racists (as in "scientists" that deal with race), and not rocket scientists, so really i don't see how those fuckers could help anyone building nazi ufo space lasers.

Wait remember when History Channel started just shoving conspiracy theory programming down its bored viewers throats/beaming over-produced manipulations designed to addict an audience at all costs (cost of good science, history, truth) because nothing good is ever on TV at any one time (a defining trait of TV, and if there is something good, it’s skipped, because good is not able to be properly expressed and appreciated in the short attention spans of modern consumers) and everything is incentivized to discard morality for money?

I also don't get this generalizing of mass populace with the evil connotations of the word "Nazi". Its quite possible that before and after ww2 lot of scientists went to work in US. Even Einstein was german right? Just because certain faction within the country came into power doesn't necessarily mean all were evil or bad, including scientists. By actually being part of the nazi doesn't also mean evil, although evil by association, doesn't mean inherently evil.

In 1958 west germany was already democratic, 13 years post ww2 and was under US influence. People were fleeing, many of em from under soviet controlled east germany. So it is definitely not "too soon".
