Which kind of person are you? - the legs question

How do you wash your legs? I believe there are two kinds of people...

When you're running outside all day in shorts in 35°C+, they get grimy. I used to just see jet fuel run off my legs when I showered after work.

I was once like most of you, washing thoroughly every time. But my gf made me turn to the dark side... °

We were taking a regular shower together and as I started soaping up my legs she asked "what are you doing?" in a surprised intonation. I freaked out, sudden shame, I was exposed! "Just washing my legs" I said. She proceeded to explain that "the water will run down there". At first I was skeptical, I refused believe her. Maybe I just didn't want to believe that my life has been a lie. But eventually, after she consistently got out of the shower faster than me, I caved in. I have not measured this in a scientific manner, but after a considerable time of doing this I am quite convinced that "the water will run down there" in deed.

Nowadays most showers I just use soap (different kinds) on my hair, face, torso and the areas adjacent to it. I've been consistently saving a minute every day for years at this point!! I am a firm believer that everyone should try out this lifehack, who knows - maybe you too can adapt this lifestyle. What will you do with the minute that you save? This I cannot say... but you should know - the possibilities are limitless!

If it's after a regular office day then no. The water will run down there.

(Of course there are situations where additional washing is required)

I may be a bit of a clean freak so not scrubbing from head to toe sounds gross to me.

You should always thoroughly clean your face, specially nose and behind the ears, hair, armpits, neck, genitals, nails, finger and spaces in between (both hand and leg), and feet.

Because i'm cycling 40+ miles everyday now I wash everything, hoping the soap goes down is a bit grimy.

I do the same thing after I take a shit. I just pour some water on my shoulders and hope it gets to the hands

For me, ass falls within the category of "areas adjacent to torso", so you would wash it with soap (like a normal person). There is no need to resort to personal insults.

I have also already clarified that this works for me because I don't get too dirty down there in a regular day unlike @Riotcoke or @iNcog . I also manage to end up WITHOUT feces on my legs as implied by the posts of @gibson and @fightinfrenchman
