China sends FM under the radar to meet Indian counterparts. China realizes the need to normalize relations with India now given the increasing western rhetoric and India's neutral stance. Hope they give up on Pakistan.

It's 38.4 according to this. Slightly lower than the US with its 38.5 years.

Thanks lol. I googled "average age by countries" and it gave me this. For some reason, I only find information on median age, not mean age. Who the heck needs to know the median age of a country?

Well there a lot of uses for median. For ex you know that 50% of the population in US is younger than 38.5 years. Or in your list Niger has median age of 14.3. This helps you in knowing the the population distribution of the country. It can be used to calculate effects of many things like wars, floods, earthquakes etc

Dumb comment as usual. But what to expect from a rebel russian anyways.

Between Taiwan and China it isn't a matter of whether land x belongs to country y or z. It is about who are the legitimate rulers of the country. Taiwan also believes in one China and ccp also believes in one China. The fight is about who should be in control. As for south china sea apart from few island spats there is no reason why china shouldn't lay claim to surrounding waters if they are able to contest it. It is very similar to claiming unsettled lands in middle ages or earlier. Even in UN terms of legality there is no framework or basis for or basis against any such claims. It is only a matter of if the opposed nations have the muscle to contest those claims or not if they wish too.

In a way they are. China has laid claim to previously unclaimed sea(most of it anyways other than few Island disputes). If other nations are disputing then they are directly disputing China's influence as well. At some point flares will rise. It depends on who has the military muscle to prove their claim.

Makes me wonder if China is not gonna invade Russia at some point, as they must have realised Russia can basically be defeated even by Ukraine
