I will not argue that. fkn love War Party. Just needs a slight nerf to bone adepts and the necroma hero to have his stats swapped with the wildlanders hero (she doesn't get a sick passive like him, and gets half the regen from the civ bonus).

I'll play you in it some time. Mixed wildlanders/vithara games or necroma mirrors.

You know of any other mad indies that are cheap (<$30) or free?

Empires Apart could've been great. Instead it feels like a budget hybrid of AoE2 and AoEO. It's freemium/f2p though so they're always worth lookin at.

8 Bit Armies is gangsta. Feels like the smoothest command and conquer game ever made and with more faction variety too. Like AoEO the "cartoony" graphics only work against it because RTS is a dinosaur player genre. It's LoL's main selling point over Dota in the MOBA's, for example.

I always get sad when i see new rts games and they look like copies from 20 year old games but worse. Which makes sense because it's indie, but still, we got no progression in this genre :(
