Re: Guess the country from the photo
It is easy to google search but I will try without it. The building looks like the The shard from London. So maybe UK. But the houses and stuff and ground color gives eastern European vibes, and as far as I am aware such large buildings aren't available in most cities. So maybe somewhere in Russia like Moscow or St.Petersburg.
Fine line to something great is a strange change.

Due to some weird angle and effects its possible it could be a side view of the North Korean hotel but seems very very very unlikely.

The place does give off an Eastern European vibe, but I have a feeling it's somewhere in Southeast Asia.

I know where it is, but don't want to spoil it for others.
It's pretty surprising it's that big that you can't see the rest of the city, but I guess it's the angle.

Re: Guess the country from the photo
Given the contrast between the blockhouse style wooden buildings in the front and the obviously very expensive and prestigious skyscraper in the back, I can only guess that it's a country that's badly developed on average but has a very rich elite spending its money to show off the alleged modernity of the country or city. I'm not sure whether they actually build this kind of wooden buildings somewhere else but in Northern Europe/America. In North America, I would expect this kind of buildings rather in the country side and not this close to a skyscraper. However, in Europe there are some areas that fit to the criteria of a) poor on average, b) rich elite, c) builds prestigious skyscrapers and d) somewhere in the north. I think it could be Moscow or St. Petersburg.
Whatever is written above: this is no financial advice.

It's a building in St. Petersburg. A great illustration of the so-called Russian prosperity.

One can see similar scenes in New York also. In fact it is quite likely that such scenes exist in most of the cities including AmsterdamMr_Bramboy wrote: ↑06 May 2022, 20:30It's a building in St. Petersburg. A great illustration of the so-called Russian prosperity.

Yes, I know you're gonna cheat with Google images.
And I know you're gonna pretend you're not.
Go on and do it.

Ig it could be the UK, but it's not the UK.
It's not Italy but I could see why some things look somewhat Mediterranean.
@everyone Thanks for not using Google so far.

Re: Guess the country from the photo
The people and the building are both green, so it must be Nigeria.
Re: Guess the country from the photo
That's probably from the camera filter or white balance. It's not Nigeria either, but it looks somewhat similar, yeah.

Before PoC comes and pretends he guessed it, after using Google, it's Sweden, Rinkeby Torg.

Cameroon
If I were a petal
And plucked, or moth, plucked
From flowers or pollen froth
To wither on a young child’s
Display. Fetch
Me a ribbon, they, all dead
Things scream.

Re: Guess the country from the photo
It's getting harder today to tell which country is which if you mask the buildings, the cars and street signs.
Luckily we have Google bots that indexed and classified every picture on the internet so if you're ever in doubt where you are you can check Google.
