china has also been busy switching away from microsoft, harmonyos and wpsoffice are some of the things they use.
there's a wiki (link) with a bunch of other adopters.
putin did order russian institutions to switch to open-sores software, not sure what came out of that. knowing russians, they probably still use pirated ms office 2007 with the aero glass theme.

linux mint is already as good as windows in so many ways. I'm not sure about VR on linux, that sounds like a pain in the ass to set up consider it already isn't easy on windows. but fuck, you can even play games on linux with good performance thanks to the proton stuff gaben gave us.
