The 3 first seasons were great (mainly 2 and 3), what i liked a lot was that they develop a scifi world of a not so far and unrealistic future and took time for this. The ambiance and atmosphere were great. Now i fell like everything has been simplified to translate the plot toward a familly drama (how awfull it is...) and just fight against the bad one guy, + the actors are kinda meh tbh. Quite disappointed.

Finished the Witcher, I enjoyed it, the last episode was a bit meh and the book geeks are huge mad, there are definitely bad things about it, but it’s aight overall.
Just tried watching Dopesick and couldn't get past the opening production credits because even on the highest quality setting Hulu's compression is such garbage

I mean it's great for binge watching but it kills the hype. In 2 days it's over and by the end of the week it's out of viewers minds. Game of thrones reached the hype level it reached cuz it was able to garner and keep viewer attention for a longer period of time.
It's especially bad if you aren't able to binge-watch the entire season and you want to discuss/meme it up until episode x but every forum/subreddit is full of season-wide spoilers.

you don't have to binge watch if you don't like it; I'm not sure cliffhangers were the best thing in the world, anyways; when you release something all at once, you get some more freedom
