Re: Best TV shows
all of my opinions are binaries because everything becomes valence. if all of my opinions are wrong, i have knowledge of every correct take. my strength value is well beyond yours! everything ive ever typed is monkeys.

Re: Best TV shows
It may imply so. However... technically that is not the case. You see a wrong opinion doesn't neccesarily imply awareness of the correct one. Only the lack off. The lack of a coherent compass to reach the correct one.
Sorry couldn't say it in simpler word(s) otherwise Chris gets pissed.

Re: Best TV shows
Yeah strangers things season 4 is definitely a huge upgrade from season 3. I also like how they left it at a cliffhanger for vol 2. It's helping build anticipationgibson wrote: ↑04 Jun 2022, 16:29Watched the first half of the new season of stranger things and enjoyed it much more than the last season. The new season of Barry is just okay. Same with the new season of The Boys. I did give it a 5 star review on Amazon that it certainly didnt deserve at a sad attempt to counter balance all the incels who gave it 1 star for being "too woke"

It would be easier to simply use a brand new one like yours rather than having to erase data infinitely large.

Re: Best TV shows
The last episode from BCS was kind of bussin ngl no cap
Re: Best TV shows
I honestly didn't mind Peaky Blinders, it had a simpler plot-line but not an unpleasant one.
Currently on season 3 of Westworld and I'm enjoying it as of right now.

Re: Best TV shows
@Goodspeed I would argue you should put Better Call Saul next to BB in the god tier if they don't fuck up these final few episodes.
Re: Best TV shows
Thoughts on the BCS finale ? :
I expected worse and at first I didn't find it impressive, but come to think of it, it couldn't have gone any other way. It had to be something bittersweet that gives Saul his comeuppance and frees Kim of guilt.
That being said, it was an ok spinoff, overall. I'd rate:
Characters: 9/10
Storytelling: 6/10 (sometimes it spends too much time on useless details, slowing down the pace for no reason)
Acting: 8/10 (Odekirk has the most convincing performance, followed by Esposito; Seehorn and Banks the worst)
Picture: 7.5/10 (sometimes it try-hards to thrill viewers with over-the-top scenery cuts and it comes out a bit cheesy and contrived, but there were some really top cuts in this series too)
Overall, the strength of the series resided in its very believable characters and the way they evolve. Character transformation was Gilligan and Gould's specialty, as Breaking Bad was pretty much all about that.

Re: Best TV shows
I enjoyed Yellowstone a lot, but even more the follow up "1883" - I would even say that "1883" is the best series I have watched for a long time. You can watch it on Paramount

Hippocrits are the worst of animals. I love elifants.
Re: Best TV shows
New got show started solid. 8/10 for episode one I’d say.
Re: Best TV shows
Been neglecting this
Rings of power is trash tbh but somehow still watchable through sheer Tolkien-universeness. It's almost impressive, though, that with that source material and that budget they still managed to fuck it up. How can the writing be this poor and where are the A-list actors? What did they spend their hundreds of millions on? I honestly believe that with zero experience I could've made a better LotR show than this with a third of their budget simply by hiring non-clowns. And how in the ever living fruit did the Galadriel smiling on a horse scene make it to the final version? Just smh
House of the dragon is good not great, just a worse GoT
It's hard to think of all the shows we watched recently, but I don't think anything really stood out except, predictably, David Simon project "We own this city"
Added:
We own this city in must watch tier
House of the dragon in worth a watch tier
Severance in worth a watch tier
All creatures great and small in see if it's for you tier
.. and on our list of new stuff to watch is:
Pachinko
Heartstopper
The staircase
This is going to hurt
Irma Vep
Mind over murder
The Bear
Nathan for you & The Rehearsal
Anything on there that you guys can particularly recommend?

Re: Best TV shows
It's close but I enjoyed BB more. It's more of a personal preference though, it's definitely arguable that they are similar in quality. I think for me BB edges out BCS mostly because BB has some of the best acting in television and I would never tire of watching those characters interact in even the mundanest of scenes. BCS the acting is also great but the chemistry between Saul and Kim is not on the level of say Jesse and Walt imho. I was reminded of this when they made their appearance in BCS.edeholland wrote: ↑19 Jul 2022, 11:46@Goodspeed I would argue you should put Better Call Saul next to BB in the god tier if they don't fuck up these final few episodes.

Re: Best TV shows
Just finished The Sopranos after watching it on and off again over the last couple of months.
Defintely agree with it's place next to The Wire.
