Does your queen wait in the line at the store cashier, like you?
the queen aint go to the store lol (we have king now btw #opwillem) but yeah they're above the law. Isn't worse than many democratic systems. With the small amount of corruption in NL we probably score well on the democracy scale.

If UK government do not follow up on the ppl votes, there will certainly be BIG CARAMBA in UK. No way the elected government can do anything but to follow up on the referendum! Why else would they even have one
They will find something to avoid implementing the result. It can be legally attacked. Maybe it will be so close, they will say: we need to have another one.

That's why the Americans are making fun of Europe. They say: Europeons are a bunch of communists stuck in medieval times with their kings and queens.

There is a terminal fear of 'neverendums' in the UK. The Scottish question was put to rest for a generation after their referendum. Even the Scottish National Party admits this.
If the result is close, there might be calls for a recount or allegations of fraud. But there won't be another vote. And it would be political suicide for the Tories if they refused to implement a Leave vote. British voters punish parties harshly when they fail to uphold key promises. The Lib Dem annihilation in last year's election is proof of this.
Oy mate, just had a couple of pints before setting off to the polls. It was bloody showers outside, had to cover me head with the dog's arse. He's a good dog, didn't say no

First they lose America, now they lose their EU membership. Britain's been a sinking ship for quite some time, now they are going to sink quite a bit faster.
