It's not. Exiting EU was actually the easy part of this whole endeavor, and it took them 3 years to do it. Now they somehow need to negotiate the biggest, most comprehensive trade deal in the world in just 11 months.

They use American English which is specifically crafted to be different than British, James Madison is considered chief architect of US constitution who was well American. I need to revise my info on legal system but I am pretty sure they follow same legal tradition while still being significantly different.
