Which browser are you using? The video post should display right in Chrome and Firefox, but it won't in Safari.
This is how they display for me on Firefox:
The 2nd post doesn't display right because the forum doesn't have any special code for embedding from that site. So links from that site will just create a frame.
Hm, also the gif that was linked was apparently deleted, so there's no resource to load from there anymore.

That's weird, they work for me in both Chrome 93 and Firefox 92, latest official builds.
Maybe there's some extension that interferes. Or maybe you're on Linux, no idea if they support webm.

afaik i have no extensions. and it's the same on my phone internet/chrome/firefox from cellular. maybe the video is just not reachable from my country idk
