Post by Kaiserklein »

We need a good movie to watch this evening. Ideally with a bit of action but not too much. Any suggestions ?

North and South. It's a trilogy, so they made it into a 9h mini-series (3 seasons). http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088583/

If this isn't another troll thread, then I recommend The Good Neighbor. Not a horror movie. Just a thriller with an incredible ending. Personally I cried like a baby. I think Queen especially would like it.

-

A pair of mischievous high school kids (Logan Miller, Keir Gilchrist) create the illusion of a haunting on an unsuspecting neighbor (James Caan). While keeping his every reaction under surveillance, they see much more than they bargained for, and discover that the man they're tormenting is not the easy target they'd expected.

What a cute thread! Enjoy your movie nights!

One of my favorite psychological thrillers is Session 9. It's really good. Not much action though. Prisoners is also good. Shutter Island. Of course, there's also the classics such as Mullholland Drive, Hannibal Lecter movies, Memento. I really enjoy psychological thrillers so I could probably go on and on.

If you need a little action, there's American Psycho, The Game, High Tension

Oh yeah, my bad. It is funny partly because it is a weird thing to say, and totally unexpected. Have you seen the movie?

Edit: Oh, and it rhymes.
