Katanagatari is decent. Overall not a fan of the genre, Ive always liked my shows for their writing especially and this doesnt go well with anime. Partly its the translation effect, where a lot of the quality is lost since Japanese is such a fundamentally different language. Then theres the young target audience which means boring themes and shallow dialogue and the massive cultural differences making it hard to relate. Theres little left to like except the fact that its a new experience, different from the all too familiar Hollywood formula.

I will say this, for the die-hards among you. Visual/sound novel you probably shouldnt read it you know cause of the translation thing also its kinda cheesy and 200 hours long dat soundtrack doe
