Teamspeak vs Mumble vs Skype

I like the sound quality better with Skype then teamspeak, have never used Mumble though so can't say.

I've never used skype but teamspeak is definately much better than mumble just because it is so much easier to use

Skype because its easy and most real life friends have it aswell. Never even really bothered to try out much else.

idk, mumble seemed pretty straight-forward to me.

When you download mumble you have like a million volume setting that you have to set and a tutorial and shit like that, and you need server name, server password, and 1 or 2 other pieces of info. With ts you just download it set like 2 setting and just connect to the server and go

I have a friend who uses discord only over skype. Its kinda cool, but I cant say I would ever switch to it over skype

It took me like idk 5 mins? The volume settings just like the tutorial were pretty straight forward and the voice customization perks are hella cool.

Tbh its been many years since I last tried TS. But Imma side with mumble anyway because of the lower latency/better voice quality.

Also Im kinda surprised Skype is leading. Skype is probably the worst choice for these purposes. Bad quality, bad customization, high latency, higher bandwidth usage, takes up more CPU resources, etc etc

More people have Skype but the sound quality of calls is way better in TS, for example if you and your "partner" talk at the same time in Skype you will most likely not hear what the other side is saying, that doesn't happen in TS.
