There is no reason why society should outlaw a plant. That said, if you become intoxicated and then do something that endangers others then there is no reason why society shouldn't incarcerate you for a time either.

most likely aspergers as people with aspergers are able to function in society albeit it awkwardly. Most people with autism however are unable to be a functioning member of society.

I'm for decriminalization for sure, its crazy to have a war against users of any drug. Even the most abused should be going to rehab and therapy instead of jails and fines. the war on drugs just creates a society of criminals and informants. I spent many years as a smoker but thankfully have grown out of it. And I must admit my mind functions better and my dreams are incredibly realistic and in color now. When I was a smoker I couldn't even tell you if I dreamed. I am thankful for all the lessons and experienecs I had with mary jane but she is a plant that can easily take over your life. Use it respectfully and responsibly and I dont mind it at all.

its pretty ironic and cruel how popularized it is in mass culture, idolized in movies, paraphernalia easily for sale, imitation products, etc.... you can't blame kids for wanting to try it. then they realize its not so bad so they wonder what else they have been lied to and try harsher drugs which creates it as a gateway drug. if it were legal it would be harder to find customers for meth and heroine. if anything it should be legal in its natural flower state rather than an ultra processed oil with trace residues of butane or other solvents in a highly concentrated form. (except when used medicinally)
