so basically this post is a celebration of me achieving 1000 posts and reaching “howdah’ status.
i want to thank evil cheadar for introducing me to the forums.
i want to thank the mods for repeatedly sending me warnings telling me to change my post behavior, then eventually banning me. i did not realize the ban was temporary and angrily made many sockpuppet accounts to argue in my favor. once divine fire realized i had never been told of the length of my ban we came to an agreement and one week later i was back posting. the #freetheear campaign popped up in the meantime and many great members of the forums showed their support.
i want to complain about the fact that the forums switched to a new service. forums were down for multiple days and i didn’t know what to do in that time.
i want to thank the general section for accepting me when i ventured out of off topic to post basement game analyses that were well received.
i want to thank Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties for being great game
i want to thank all the basement players for making basement games so good
#modtheear hasnt succeeded yet but has garned much support
a lot of people are now aware of the basement games which is pretty chill
anyway thanks for being a great forum i hope to have many more thousands of posts for you
now as a special treat I want to share my thoughts on all of you people:
evil cheadar: obviously one of the top two posters along with myself. posts very high quality content and just knows what he’s talkin’ about
gustavusadolphus: another fellow basement player, makes good posts just not frequently enough
Divine Fire: we’ve had our disagreements mostly cuz he messaged me a lot about my posts
incog: another mod who sometimes says odd stuff but is mostly fine
thebritish: posts mostly nonsense but fine
r4go: weird
medinos: pretty sure he was the anti-semitic one
howlingwolfpaw: good guy like to play him online but very conspiracy oriented
gibson: pretty chill
good ol ivan: dont see him much anymore but he supported #freetheear first i think
moesbar: not sure where he went but also supported me a lot
metis: on the surface he was a know-it-all but deep down he was a medic
arriah: liked to argue with metis
arkz: liked to argue with metis and made hundreds of accounts
Dr. Legend: a notorious troll that used to be around before me and has recently resurfaced
Jerom: used to dislike me but has come around. he is also dutch
noissance: pretty chilly guy who supports the ear movements and plays with us online
zoom: not very good poster
Mr Bramboy: not a fan of most of his posts
Dolan: pretty good
Laurence Drake: posted about god and i dont believe in god so
Kaiserklein: not great
Jackson pollock: randomly insults people
wuangaga: nah
Papist: pretty okay
Marco: notorious troll
britishmusketeer: i think this is a thebritish alt still due to username
benj89: not a fan of his posts
