Yeah when you take your first physics classes it might seem harder than math because you've been doing math for 12 years but only started physics. That might change later on though

I took engineering fundamentals 1 which is basically calc based physics after I'd taken calc 1 and it was wasn't difficult, it was just boring and I couldn't stand the fact that when we did labs our calculations were never completely accurate.
