I'm honestly still sad about the way the brackets turned out. Italy vs Spain was better than a semi finals for sure, and possibly even a better game than the final. Italy vs Germany is final worthy and so is France vs Germany/Italy (assuming they beat iceland, just for the sensical way of comments).. Portugal, Belgium, Croatia, Poland and Wales don't deserve a spot in the final four, while France Germany and Italy were certainly worthy of one, and spain didn't do much worse than those earlier five. Its a shame really.

That's interesting. My impression of the match is that Belgium was thoroughly outplayed by wales; particularly in terms of box-defence, but even in the offence.

It certainly was one of the better matches so far – if nothing else for the stunningly spectacular goals...
