Hey at least I don't have to choose between Trump and Clinton and have to carry a weapon to go to classes and come back home in one piece. Even then, there's no telling if you're gonna get shot before you touch your weapon.

It's easy to say that when you're a white person living in Penn.
Chances of death in a school shooting are still insanely low regardless of ethnicity/location. Nobody should be any more concerned about getting shot in class than getting in a head on collision cause somebody had a heart attack while driving and veered into your lane. Actually they should be more concerned about the latter.

My guess is that living close by Bucharest beats living a lot of USA city's. Also Romanians are a warm blooded mediterranean ppl who do appreciate the fine stuff in live, a bit like the French and Italians
I've never heard many people rave about Romania, however from what you say it sounds nice. At least you have some fast internet.

OMG, my connexion is so lower than all other^^ Ping never go under 200ms and can be really more, upload is never more than 400kb/s and is often about 100. Welcome in France !
My speeds are good, but the connection quality (ping, jitters, etc.) to video games is terrible, mainly because i live in west coast, and most gamers live in east coast america, so my connection is never good. The upload speed is usually what matters in games, and mine isn't as good as i would like it to be.

Coast to coast distance should only make a minimal difference. Also with 12 mb of upload you can basically run the traffic of this game 30 times or so. You should be able to play no problem with 3/4 of countries on earth. Rather check your signal to the router (if you use wifi) or just be sure that the values you get are actually consistent.

On games like BF4, my ping constantly jumps from 50 to 300-999 ping every few seconds, and it only happens on browser-dependent games.
Woow, I saw Austin Texas and thought they had Google fiber. I guess fiber is more in the 1GB down range
I work for time warner and currently we have already rolled out speeds in Dallas, Austin, and in San Antonio TX with speeds up to 300 down....
Because of google fiber we have to up our game and currently im a beta tester for 1 GB speeds we should be offering in about 2-3 years... as you can see im not hitting 1 GB just yet... but we are working on it
