Word on the street is the servers are 10x worse than eso has ever been, so I wouldn't recommend it

Just the idea of this game is good enough to support it even if it never works as it should :biggrin:

I think the group they are targeting (if I may guess) is the people who played pokemon blue/red/yellow when it was new. I belong in this group and think this game seems super cool. But I might be too lazy to have to walk around to play...

I caught a Magikarp today! (No meme, actually happened)

The game itself is terrible though. The only thing you can do is walk around and find pokemon. You don't even have to battle the wild pokemon, you just have to throw a ball at it. Apart from that you can find a gym although I have no idea what its function is.

2/5, at least there are no microtransactions (as far as I can see)

Well, you can enter a Pokemon gym only after you reach level 5.. 1st you have to choose a team color.. Red, Yellow or Blue.. Then you can battle the gym trainers of a gym of your color.. each gym can have 3 trainers. you have to defeat them.. you can also take up a position as one of the defenders. Being a gym defender has many perks. :-)

US, Australia, and NZ. They postponed releases in other countries to focus on stabilizing the servers. They got a few more people than they expected.. :)
