is it just me or these mice with high dpi capability tend to be jittery as shit?
my old mouse, before one of the buttons jammed up:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-B110-O ... e=UTF8&'qid=1434446994&'sr=8-1&'keywords=b110
replaced it with the razer deathadder which was stupidly jerky, sent that back and bought
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Roccat-Hybrid-O ... e=UTF8&'qid=1434447146&'sr=8-1&'keywords=roccat+savu
which I have now. this one is better but jitter still shows up during typical rts movements, ie short jerky ones, making it unreliable and not possible to control stuff
i'm thinking of downgrading back to the b110

hmm, maybe something's wrong in your mouse settings? I.e. Enhance Pointer Precision (off)?
Gaming Mice
yea that's off, it's not settings, i've tried tweaking things

err, what do you mean by jitter? how are you measuring it? Bear in mind it takes something like 1 week to 1 month to start getting used to the new mouse. From my experience first days are actually pretty traumatic as it seems you can't click shit.

It's optical vs laser. I prefer the optical technology. I use mx518. If you got used to the laser and used it on a good surface for it you would be fine. I can talk more on skype if you want to trouble shoot sometime.

Hmm, do people actually use expensive mouses for AOE? I thought that was something more for Dota or LoL. I just have a cheap 15 buck mouse, and hardly ever have problems.

It's better to spend $300 on a gaming mouse that marginally improves your accuracy and reaction time.

I use the Logitech G5 and love it. I have been using steel series mousepad and about a month ago my mouse started acting up - or so I thought. Turns out the mouse pad was worn. Now I'm not using a mouse pad and have no problems.

Logitecs pretty decent, not hi-fi like the deathadder, but very decent performance, pretty hardy too...

i''ve a g300 :thumbsup:deleted_user wrote:I can''t take anything Razer makes seriously. Looks wayyy too tacky.
I use the Logitech g600 which is the equivalent to the razer naga. It has 12 side buttons. Is that too much? You bet. I bought it because I went to Walmart looking for a 10 dollar mouse then happened upon their gaming mice section and got carried away. However, I looove it. Works great, looks great, and most importantly, each button is angled differently than it''s adjacent, making it easy to differentiate by feel. This is a feature the naga doesn''t have. In hindsight, I would still purchase again. Although I don''t use all the buttons, I do use six of them, and it''s neat having the option to use more if I wish.
Is it mandatory? Not at all. Though having just two mappable buttons on your mouse is exponentially better than none IMO.
so u recommend a g600? i''ll need to change soon so i''m just on the lookout... :clint:
