Hi all, so I'm stuck on a function that aoe and any of the added scanerio editors don't offer.. Its actually quite simple but I can't find the value.
I want a simple trigger that "condition" = if player free units is more than 0, or more than anything, then "effect" do something..
The free units variable is actually kept track by something in the game because POST GAME charts show that in the resource section, its at the end "free units"
So something has to keep track of this. Free units are anything you recieve from treasures, home city shippments, or yes, the moesbar hack which I'm trying to detect by implementing this code.
I went through the game files I cannot find the ID of this value that keeps track of shit which is more so annoying. Can anyone help?

Are you sure moesbar units are included under "free units"? Surely in your scenario every spawned unit is free?
If you really want to prevent cheaters in your scenario, I suggest you just play on EP.

Trust me, risk units do not show up in free units. But moesbar do. I already have a way to boot the player if they are moesbaring by creating a unit or even sending tech values/unit upgrades.. I just need a way to find if they are actually moesbaring by checking free units....... Issue is, if I do not have this implemented, its really hard to spot someone who is discretely moesbaring.

I think somebody cheating in an unrated scenario should be the least of your worries. I don't think checking free units is possible so I think you will have to deal with it the same way all players do.

Resolved. At the end of the day I simply want to create a fair and enjoyable experience for all players. It is unfortunate that we are unable to access this specific DATA, such as treasures gathered also. Anyways thanks for the help.

So far I have been Moesbar'd in Colosseum and Cards. Wouldn't surprise me at all that people do that in Risk.
Pay more attention to detail.

LMFAO K guys. Honestly. Why are you part of this forum if you don't love AOE3? I have spent countless evenings editing, perfecting my risk scanerio.. I even implemented that silly population control mechanic (amount of units killed is your pop limit) to suit you're advice before I even think of trying to host a RISK tournament. Lastly I am tackling this hacking issue, because last week I was moesbared by a guy who changed the stats on the units he had PLUS created extra units. Am I really to be ridiculed for trying to improve this game?

That'll work if units can only be created through your scenario triggers and not by training units.
By the way, in general, discussing an anti-cheat measure publicly only makes it easier for it to be circumvented. I've edited my post, please edit your quote of my post.

In this risk, you only get units via trade posts so yes, the method mentioned will work. And thanks for the advice :)
